In Ukraine’s south, 79 invaders eliminated, 12 units of enemy equipment destroyed in past day

Over the past 24 hours in the southern part of Ukraine, the country’s defenders killed 79 Russian servicemen and destroyed 12 units of military equipment, including two unmanned aerial vehicles.

That’s according to Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"Our units are holding their positions along the line of contact in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, ready to advance eastward,” the statement reads.

The aggressor’s losses include 79 servicemen and 12 units of equipment, including two drones, such as Orlan-10 UAVs, as well as howitzers, trucks, and armored vehicles.

It is noted that psychological pressure on the population of the areas bordering with Transnistria continues in Odesa region regarding the probable blockade of the region due to the demolition of the Dniester Bridge, which was again hit by a missile strike. The enemy is also aggravating the situation by bringing the armed forces of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova and units of the operational group of Russian troops into full combat readiness.

There is also a threat of missile strikes from the temporarily occupied Crimea, from air and from the sea, where an enemy naval group carrying cruise missiles has been deployed.
