Russians use e-warfare systems to jam radio signal - General Staff
The Russian invasion forces pursue offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone in order to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions and maintain the land corridor between these territories and the occupied Crimea, using e-warfare systems to suppress radio signal.
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The greatest activity of the occupiers is observed in Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.
In the Volyn, Polissya and Siversky directions, the situation remains unchanged.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the Russians operate in a group consisting of separate units of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District, and the coastal troops of the Baltic and Northern Fleets. The occupiers continue to focus their efforts on preventing further advance of Ukraine’s troops towards the state border of Ukraine, conducting reconnaissance north and north-east of the city of Kharkiv.
In the Izium direction, a group of separate units of the 1st Panzer Army and the 20th All-Military Army of the Russian Western Military District, the 29th, 35th, 36th All-Military Armies and the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District and Airborne Troops focuses its main efforts on inflicting fire damage on Ukraine’s units in certain areas.
In the Donetsk direction, the group of occupying troops is focusing its main efforts on continuing the offensive in order to take full control of the city of Rubizhne and capture the settlements of Lyman and Sieiverodonetsk.
Assaults continue on the Lyman, Sieiverodonetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Kurakhiv areas with the support of artillery and MLR systems.
In the city of Mariupol, the Russians are blocking Ukraine’s units in the area of the Azovstal steelworks. With the support of artillery and tank fire, they continue their assault operations, also inflicting missile strikes and bombing.
In the South Buh and Tavria directions, the Russians are trying to improve their tactical position.
In the Mykolayiv direction, the enemy continues its attacks on Ukraine’s forces.
The Russians use electronic warfare systems to suppress radio signal.
In the Kryvyi Rih direction, the enemy artillery opened fire on Ukraine’s positions.
Engineering works are underway and new positions are being set up in the areas of Bruskinske and Velyka Oleksandrivka.
In the Tavria direction, the enemy conducts demonstrative maneuvers in order to restrain the actions of the Ukrainian units, as well as works to fortify positions and replenishes reserves.
The situation in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova remains tense.
Units of the Russian army’s task force remain in full combat readiness.
The Russian forces continue to destroy Ukraine's civilian infrastructure by launching missile and bomb strikes and shelling the settlements with shelling.
Continued shelling disrupts a full-fledged evacuation of civilians and wounded from the war zone.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s air defense units downed four Orlan-10 UAVs. Ukraine’s air assault troops destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter.
In certain areas, the Air Force provided support to the Ukrainian troops.
In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukraine’s defenders repulsed twelve enemy attacks, having destroyed 12 main battle tanks, four artillery systems, 19 armored combat vehicles, seven trucks, and two units of special engineering equipment.
