Ukrainian defenders destroy six tanks, kill up to 250 invaders in eastern Ukraine

Ukraine's Armed Forces have destroyed six tanks and killed up to 250 occupiers in the east of the country.

The Operational and Tactical Group East reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Ukrainian defenders continue to deter the aggressor in the area of responsibility of the Operational and Tactical Group East. In particular, on May 11, Russian fascist troops carried out five attacks. Our artillery opened fire on groups of military personnel and equipment. In addition, an ammunition depot and an observation post were destroyed," the report reads.

Ukrainian defenders killed up to 250 invaders and destroyed six tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, two armored personnel carriers, and two armored fighting vehicles.

Between February 24 and May 11, Ukraine's Armed Forces eliminated about 26,350 Russian soldiers. They also destroyed 1,187 Russian tanks, 2,856 armored fighting vehicles, 528 artillery systems, 185 multiple launch rocket systems, 87 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 199 aircraft, 160 helicopters, 1,997 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, 12 ships/boats, 390 unmanned aerial vehicles, 41 units of special units and 94 cruise missiles.
