Gas pipeline, furniture shop and houses damaged in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaiv
A gas pipeline, furniture shop and residential houses have been damaged in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaiv this morning.
The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The effects of this morning’s shelling: a furniture shop on fire, windows broken in residential houses, a car burnt down, a low-pressure gas pipeline damaged,” Sienkevych wrote.
In his words, rescue teams and municipal services are now working at the scene.
A reminder that explosions were heard in the city of Mykolaiv at 05:34 a.m., May 16, 2022.
Air raid sirens have rung in the city twice over the past day.
Russian troops continue to shell Mykolaiv Region. Hostilities are underway at the border with Kherson Region.
