In Chernihiv region, Russian forces fire mortars at border area

The invaders have mortared the area in ​​Chernihiv region close to the border with Russia.

That’s according to Operational Command North, Ukrinform reports.

"Today at about 16:40, observers recorded six mortar strikes from the territory of the Russian Federation toward Senkivka," the message reads.

According to the Command, there are no casualties among personnel and no equipment destroyed.

As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of May 17, the Russians launched missile strikes on a military town of Desna in Chernihiv region, killing and injuring many.
