Enemy missile downed in Vinnytsia region
An incoming Russian missile was shot down near the town of Nemyriv, Vinnytsia region, on Saturday, May 21.
This was announced on Telegram by the head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Borzov, Ukrinform reports.
“A missile attack on Vinnytsia region! A missile was shot down outside Nemyriv,” Borzov wrote.
He noted that the air defense forces had performed successfully.
The air-raid alarm in the region went off at 10:43.
As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian forces have been destroying key infrastructure facilities, massively shelling and bombing residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages, using artillery, MLR systems, ballistic missiles, and air bombs.
