More than 100 objects damaged in eastern Ukraine over past day
Over the past day, Russian invaders have caused damage to 58 infrastructure facilities, detached houses and apartment blocks in Luhansk Region and 53 objects in Donetsk Region, including a secondary school and religious building.
The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the police, the enemy has opened fire on Luhansk Region’s settlements 35 times over the past day. There were casualties among civilians. In particular, a volunteer was reported among the injured.
Russian invaders launched artillery strikes on Sievierodonetsk, having hit a secondary school. As a result, a 65-year-old woman and her 44-year-old son were killed. Other civilians were injured and taken to hospital.
In Donetsk Region, Russian troops opened fire on 14 settlements.
“Russian occupiers killed and injured civilians. A total of 53 civilian objects were damaged: residential houses, school, bus station, religious building, farm households,” the police noted.
The following settlements came under enemy fire: Bakhmut, Lyman, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka (city), Svitlodarsk, Zvanivka, Yelyzavetivka, Ocheretyne, New York, Sukha Balka, Yakovlivka, Pokrovske, Soloviove, Krasnohorivka (village).
