Three civilians injured as Russians fire on Avdiivka
The town of Avdiivka in Donetsk region is under constant fire. Three civilians were injured, 20 houses and a kindergarten were damaged.
"Avdiivka was under enemy fire all night long. In the evening, the Russians fired artillery on the town. At least 20 houses and a kindergarten were damaged. In the morning, Russian launched an airstrike on the old area of the town. The consequences of the strike are being established. In general, at least three civilians have been injured during the day," Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko posted on Telegram.
According to him, the Russians wage the war of annihilation, destroying the Ukrainian settlements along the entire front line from Vuhledar to Lyman, hitting the towns located in the relative rear, such as Bakhmut and Soledar.
As reported, about 370,000 residents stay in the government-controlled territory of Donetsk region now, accounting for 22% of the population size before February 24. The rest went to safe places.
