5 killed, 10 injured in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, the number of victims of today's shelling has risen to five killed and ten injured, including a child.

Natalia Popova, adviser to the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, volunteer, posted the updated information on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to her, five people were killed and 10 more, including a child, were injured in the shelling of the central part of the city.

“This is still preliminary information,” Popova noted and urged the city residents not to come out of shelters.

Earlier, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov informed that four people had been killed and seven more had been injured in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv.

On February 24, Russian president Putin launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
