Ukrainian troops launch successful counterattack south of Kryvyi Rih

South of Kryvyi Rih, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a successful counterattack, eliminating 63 Russian invaders and destroying nearly two dozen units of military equipment.

As Head of the Kryvyi Rih City Military Administration Oleksandr Vilkul posted on Telegram, the situation in Kryvyi Rih direction of the front remains tense, but at the same time stable and under control. The Armed Forces of Ukraine show real courage and heroism and successfully carry out combat missions.

“A successful counterattack was launched south of Kryvyi Rih, eliminating 63 Russian invaders and destroying 19 units of enemy equipment, including modern T-72 tanks, Grad multiple rocket launcher, artillery, helicopters and one Su-35 aircraft. We thank our soldiers for their courage!" the head of Kryvyi Rih wrote.

Ukraine's positions are being seriously reinforced on all lines of defense, Vilkul added.

As reported, on May 28, one of the plants in Kryvyi Rih was virtually destroyed by rocket fire.
