Volunteer car comes under enemy fire in Sievierodonetsk, three doctors missing
Russian invaders have opened fire on a car with two volunteers inside, and three doctors have gone missing in Sievierodonetsk.
The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The security situation update as of May 30, 2022. Russians are advancing inside Sievierodonetsk. A volunteer car with two volunteers came under enemy fire; they were injured but taken to safety now. Three doctors went missing: the front part of their car was found torn apart, and there is no connection with them,” Haidai noted.
In his words, Sievierodonetsk’s critical infrastructure was destroyed, and 60% of the housing stock cannot be restored.
“It is dangerous to use the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway. We are using safer routes for evacuation purposes and to deliver humanitarian goods,” Haidai added.
A reminder that heavy battles are raging for Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk. Russian troops are launching strikes with light weapons, tanks, artillery, mortars and the Grad multiple launch rocket systems.
