Ukraine's Armed Forces destroy platoon of Pskov paratroopers
Lviv paratroopers have destroyed a platoon of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment from Russia's Pskov region.
According to Ukrinform, the command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported this on Facebook.
"Thanks to the coordinated work of artillery units of the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, a platoon of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division of the armed forces of Moscovia has been destroyed," the statement said.
"About 20 Russian occupiers were successfully destroyed, along with their armored vehicles," the statement said.
This Russian military unit has repeatedly opposed Lviv paratroopers since 2014 and has suffered significant losses from Ukraine's defenders, the command said.
Ukraine's Armed Forces eliminated about 30,350 Russian servicemen between February 24 and May 30.
