Ukrainian troops destroy five enemy tanks, three drones in JFO area
Ukrainian soldiers of the Joint Forces Task Force have repulsed five enemy attacks on Thursday. Fighting continues at two locations.
"Ukrainian defenders of the Joint Forces Task Force have repulsed five enemy attacks today. Fighting is still going on at two locations. Our brave warriors inflict manpower and hardware losses on ruscist invaders," the press service of the Joint Forces Task Force posted on Facebook.
According to the press service, five tanks, three artillery systems, and two armored personnel vehicles were destroyed over the past 24 hours.
In addition, the air defense units shot down three enemy Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
It is noted that the enemy uses combat aircraft, multiple rocket launchers, heavy artillery, tanks, mortars of various systems, launches missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure, peaceful residential areas along the entire line of defense.
Russian troops fired on about 30 localities in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroying and damaging 52 civilian objects, including 42 houses, two factories, administrative buildings, a hangar, and vehicles of several state fire and rescue units.
Five civilians were killed and seven more were injured in the shelling.
As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 30,850 Russian personnel from February 24 to June 2.
