Ukrainian defenders down nine air targets, including warplane and helicopter

Ukraine's Armed Forces and air defense units destroyed nine enemy targets on June 4, including a plane, a helicopter, three drones and four missiles.

According to Ukrinform, the Command of the Ukrainian Air Force said this on Facebook.

"On June 4, anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force 'demilitarized' another enemy aircraft (presumably a Su-34 fighter-bomber) in the east, and a Forpost UAV in the south. In addition, air defense units of the Ukrainian Ground Forces destroyed an enemy Ka-52 helicopter and two Orlan-10 drones, the report said.

According to the Ukrainian Navy, its air defense forces on June 4 struck four Kalibr cruise missiles fired from Russian submarines.

According to the report, Ukrainian fighter jets continue to patrol the airspace, and the strike aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force provide fire support to the Defense Forces in the east and in other operational areas.
