Ukrainian defenders continue to knock the Russians out of Sievierodonetsk, smashing their hardware.

"The enemy fortifications, two BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, and cars were destroyed," the Luhansk Regional Military Administration informs with reference to the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, Ukrinform reports.

A video showing the destruction of Russian military hardware in the eastern part of the town was released.

As reported, on June 5, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai said that the Ukrainian troops had been pushing back Russian troops in the occupied areas of Sievierodonetsk over the past two days. According to him, Russian troops had controlled 70 percent of the town, but had been knocked out, and the town was divided in half.
