Defense contract with Poland will strengthen capabilities of Ukrainian army - Yermak

The signing of a defense contract between Ukraine and Poland will strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian army.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andriy Yermak, said this on Telegram.

He also published an image taken by Maxar Technologies, showing fields peppered with artillery craters in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Yermak noted that heavy fighting continues in the Donbas. He clarified that the Russian troops have a lot of equipment and artillery. At the same time, he stressed that Ukraine's goal is the liberation of all territories, which will be a victory for Ukrainians.

"We are doing everything to ensure that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have more weapons. The signing of a defense contract with Poland will strengthen the capabilities of our army," Yermak said.

On June 7, Poland and Ukraine signed an arms deal worth $630 million.
