Ukrainian aircraft shoots down enemy cruise missile over Sumy Region

On Thursday, during the air raid siren, an aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian cruise missile over Romny District, Sumy Region.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Grateful to our defenders,” Zhyvytskyi wrote, posting the photographs of Russia’s missile fragments.
A reminder that, on June 7, 2022, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units destroyed a missile over Zaporizhzhia Region.
