On June 12, three locals were killed in Lysychansk, Luhansk region: a man, a woman, and a 6-year-old child. One person was injured.
"Last night, a shopping center burned down, and four houses and premises of a local mine were damaged. The Russians destroyed 11 houses in Vrubivka, four – in Zolote, and two houses and a kindergarten – in Hirske. Our soldiers successfully repulsed the assault towards Viktorivka–Vrubivka and Komyshuvakha–Vrubivka. The enemy resumed offensive operations in the area of Zolote," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Facebook.
The head of Luhansk region also informed about the current developments in Sievierodonetsk.
The enemy continues to assault the town and somewhat pushed the Ukrainian military back due to a significant artillery superiority.
"However, the battle for the town continues. The Russians are destroying block after block. Yesterday, many people saw a video taken in the old neighbourhoods of the town: almost completely destroyed high-rise buildings. One of them is divided into four parts, the fragments of which stand separate. This is a true picture of the ‘Russian world’. Several shells hit the treatment facilities in Sievierodonetsk, the area of Azot plant, where people still hide in bomb shelters, was struck three times," Haidai wrote.
