Russia’s missile strikes on Pryluky: Ammunition detonated, fire localized
Russia’s missile strikes on Pryluky District, Chernihiv Region, have caused the detonation of ammunition. The fire that had broken out was localized.
The relevant statement was made by Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Head Viacheslav Chaus on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Russia’s missile strikes hit an object situated not far from Pryluky. The ammunition detonated,” the report states.
According to Chaus, the fire is now localized. Civilians who have been evacuated from the nearby villages will be able to return to their homes tomorrow. In the meantime, the law enforcement officers will maintain order and ensure that no looting takes place. No casualties among civilians were reported.
Repair crews are working at the scene, and electricity supply services are expected to resume tomorrow.
A reminder that, at 01:15 p.m., June 13, 2022, the Russian military fired missiles at Pryluky, Chernihiv Region. As there was the risk of fire spreading, the evacuation from such settlements as Zaizd, Petrivske, Tykhe and Sukhostavets was announced.
