Russians fire at border area in Sumy Region with mortars, grenade launchers
This morning Russian troops have opened fire on the Shalyhyne community, Sumy Region, with mortars and grenade launchers.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Shalyhyne community: the enemy opened fire with mortars at about 07:30 a.m.; eight projectiles hit. At about 09:00 a.m., near one of settlements in the Shalyhyne community, Russians attempted to destroy a vehicle with two grenade launcher shots,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.
In his words, no casualties were reported.
