Deadly Russian air strike on Lysychansk

At least three people died and seven other civilians got injured in an air strike carried out by Russian invaders on Lysychansk, Luhansk region.

Luhansk Regional Military Administration head Serhii Haidai broke the news on Telegram.

"An air strike on Lysychansk. One of the buildings where people were sheltering got hit. At least three dead and seven wounded," he wrote.

The region’s governor has said that an operation to clear the rubble is currently underway.

As reported, Russian troops are subjecting Ukraine’s easternmost region of Lugansk to a constant barrage of shells that destroy residential buildings and infrastructure, killing civilians.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine informs that hundreds of Lysychansk residents are forced to hide in basements.
