Casualties, destruction reported as enemy attacks Lysychansk
Russian troops have shelled the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region, with the number of casualties being established.
Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"The shelling lasted the night before and yesterday. Aircraft were used. More than ten apartment buildings, private houses and a police station building were destroyed. The body of one victim has been found so far. A wounded woman was immediately evacuated to Kramatorsk. We are establishing the final number of victims, because yesterday it was almost impossible to move around the city safely," Haidai said.
Also, 13 houses were damaged in Hirske, seven in Novoivanivka, and a school was destroyed in Vrubivka.
Haidai said that fierce fighting continues in Sievierodonetsk's industrial area.
In addition, the enemy launched air strikes on Ustynivka, Maloriazantseve, Bilohorivka and Hirske.
Fighting continues near Mykolaivka. Assault operations by the Russian army near Bila Hora and Syrotyne have been fruitless so far.
