Death toll in Russia’s missile strike on Mykolaiv rises to six
Currently, a total of six civilians have been reported killed and six injured in Russia’s missile strike on an apartment block in the city of Mykolaiv, launched in the morning of June 29, 2022.
The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In the morning of June 29, 2022, over 10 missiles were fired at Mykolaiv and its outskirts. The apartment block was hit. Six civilians have been reported killed and six injured so far. The missiles also struck a recreation center and garage cooperative,” the report states.
Two more civilians were injured in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaiv Region’s Bereznehuvate community yesterday. Information about the damage caused is yet to be checked.
On the night and in the morning of June 30, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on the Shyroke community. One residential house was destroyed and two damaged. No casualties among civilians were reported.
In the afternoon of June 29, 2022, Mykolaiv District’s Pervomaisk community came under enemy fire. Residential houses were damaged.
Russian invaders also shelled the Halytsynove community. The damage caused is yet to be checked.
