Ukrainian forces shoot down Russian drone in Dnipropetrovsk region
Ukrainian defenders have shot down a Russian drone in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"July 3. 19:43. A victorious evening news story. Our military shot down a hostile drone over the Dnipropetrovsk region. This is already the tenth reconnaissance drone of the aggressor destroyed in the sky over our region," he wrote.
According to preliminary information, the wreckage of the drone fell in a field.
In addition, enemy shelling caused a fire in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian troops targeted the village of Velyka Kostromka, Kryvyi Rih district.
"In the evening, the enemy struck Velyka Kostromka. A non-residential building caught fire there. So far, rescuers have put out the blaze. There are no casualties," Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, wrote on Telegram.
