Ukraine president adviser names conditions for resumption of talks with Russia
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, has responded to the Kremlin's statements about the resumption of negotiations, providing a list of conditions under which Ukraine is ready to sit down at the negotiating table again.
Podolyak wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Ceasefire. Z-troops withdrawal. Returning of kidnapped citizens. Extradition of war criminals. Reparations mechanism. Ukraine's sovereign rights recognition. The Russian side knows our conditions well. Peskov's boss may not worry: the time will come and we will record them on paper," he said.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov earlier said that Ukraine "must understand Russia's conditions, agree to them, sit down at the negotiating table, and sign a document."
