Casualties as Russians shell Ukraine’s Sumy region, again

Russian invaders on Monday night launched a new rocket attack on Sumy region, this time on Bilopillia community, firing off a total of five rockets.

This was reported by the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dymtro Zhiyytskyi, who broke the news via Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

"From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Russians launched rockets twice at one of the villages of the Bilopillia community. A total of five rockets. Also, there was mortar fire: four attacks. After 9 p.m., mortar fire and that of self-propelled guns went on. At least two people were injured," wrote Zhyvytskyi.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, an enemy helicopter fired two missiles from the territory of the Russian Federation at the Esman territorial community in Sumy region, damaging the school premises.

Sumy region is located in the northeastern part of Ukraine, bordering Russia.
