Conscripts need permission to leave districts and regions – Ukraine Army chief
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, has said that conscripts who are planning to travel outside their districts and regions must obtain permission from territorial recruitment and social support centers.
Zaluzhny said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Dear citizens - conscripts and those liable for military service! I remind you that the war is going on. Your country needs you! Everyone who has not still registered or renewed their military registration should do so. Those of you who are planning to leave your districts and regions must obtain permission from the territorial recruitment and social support center," he said.
At the same time, Zaluzhny added that the military command had not given any instructions to prevent the movement of people in the coming days.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces earlier said that during wartime, it is prohibited for conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists to leave their place of residence without the permission of the head of the respective territorial recruitment and social support center. At the same time, if necessary, it will be possible to obtain a permit at the territorial center for a period of 30 days to one year.
