UK defense chief, Zaluzhny discuss plans for future operations
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny discussed plans for future operations with Chief of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, who arrived in Ukraine on a visit.
In a post on his Facebook page, Zaluzhny wrote: “It was a great pleasure to host in Ukraine the Chief of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin. This visit is a strong message of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fight against the russian aggressor.”
According to the Commander-in-Chief, they worked “very fruitfully” at the command post, discussing in detail “the plans for future operations”.
“As military service members, we understand the situation as it is and dedicate all our strength to the fight for freedom,” he wrote.
Zaluzhny also thanked Admiral Radakin and the entire British people for their “steadfast support of Ukraine, assistance and trust”.
As reported, Admiral Radakin was in Ukraine on a 48-hour visit. According to him, the purpuse of the visiti was to "better understand the operational outlook" of Ukraine and “to discuss how the UK can continue to support Ukraine”.
