Five civilians die in intensive care after strikes on Bakhmut and Siversk

Five civilians were killed as a result of enemy strikes on Bakhmut and Siversk on July 7-8. The criminal proceedings were initiated.

"According to the investigation data, on July 7-8, 2022, Siversk and Bakhmut came under heavy fire opened by the Russian army. After the strikes, five civilians died in the intensive care unit of the hospital. Three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were injured by the occupiers' shells. He is currently in critical condition in the hospital. Civilians' houses and cars were damaged," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Currently, primary investigative actions are conducted to find out all the circumstances of the crime.

As of July 8, 2022, Russia committed 22,123 crimes of aggression and war crimes against Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Of these, 21,307 crimes are related to violations of the laws and customs of war.
