Russians strike residential areas of Kryvyi Rih with Grad MLRS, casualties reported

In the morning of July 9, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on Kryvyi Rih’s Inhuletskyi District with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy continues to terrorize our cities and villages. This morning Russian troops have opened fire on Kryvyi Rih’s Inhuletskyi District. The enemy deliberately struck the residential areas with the Grad MLRS. A 41-year-old woman was killed, and two more civilians with shrapnel wounds were taken to hospital. A school and several houses were damaged. A car parked nearby burnt down,” Reznichenko wrote.

A reminder that, on July 8, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky paid a working visit to Dnipropetrovsk Region’s Kryvyi Rih District to hold a meeting on the operational situation.
