Russian forces attack Sumy region
Russian forces fired missiles at three communities in the Sumy region early on Saturday.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"The night of July 9 was quiet, but the morning began with shelling. After seven o'clock in the morning, a Russian helicopter fired two rockets at the Bilopillia community. At half past seven, five rockets fired from a multiple launch rocket system hit the Khotin community. At around 07:45, a Russian helicopter shelled the Myropillia community," he wrote.
Information about victims and destruction is being clarified.
On July 8, the enemy shelled the Sumy region 18 times. Five communities of the region came under fire. A farmer in the Krasnopillia community was injured.
