24 civilians injured in Russian shelling of Mykolaiv region in past day
As many as 24 civilians have been injured in Russian shelling of the Mykolaiv region in the past 24 hours.
Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Hanna Zamazeyeva said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"The occupiers continue to shell Mykolaiv region. The city of Mykolaiv came under attack this morning. Settlements in Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts were hit. Attacks were recorded in the villages of Bereznehuvate, Bashtanka, Pervomaisk and Ochakiv communities. Overall, 24 people were injured over the past day," Zamazeyeva wrote.
She noted that all those injured were taken to healthcare facilities and receive the necessary assistance.
In general, as of this morning, 336 citizens injured in Russian attacks stay in Mykolaiv hospitals.
On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, firing at Ukrainian cities and villages with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.
