27 people may be under rubble of house in Chasiv Yar – President's Office

Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko has said that 27 people may be under the ruins of a house in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, destroyed by a Russian missile strike on July 10.

Tymoshenko said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, as of 16:00, rescuers retrieved 15 bodies from the rubble. Five people were rescued.

"Rescuers have established contact with three more people who remain under the rubble. Perhaps there are 24 more people under the destroyed walls, among them a nine-year-old boy," Tymoshenko said.

The rescue operation is continuing.

Earlier, the press service of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service's main office in the Donetsk region said that the death toll in a Russian rocket attack on residential buildings in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, has risen to 15.
