Russian missile hits apartment block in central Kharkiv overnight Monday

As a result of a Russian missile strike in the early hours of July 11, a six-storey apartment block in the central part of Kharkiv was partially destroyed.

This was reported by the Suspilne public broadcaster with reference to the State Emergency Service, according to Ukrinform.

The search and rescue operation is underway at the scene of the strike. An elderly woman is known to have been rescued from under the rubble.

It is noted that the air-raid siren in the area went off at 00:23. The first explosion rocked the city at 3:32, with a total of three blasts having been recorded.
