Death toll in Russia’s missile attack on Chasiv Yar rises to 33
The number of civilians killed in Russia’s missile attack on residential houses in the city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Region, has increased to 33.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As of 11:30 p.m. [July 11, 2022], when conducting emergency and rescue works in a 5-storey apartment block in Chasiv Yar, a child was found dead (presumably born in 2013). In general, since the rescue works started, a total of 33 bodies have been recovered and nine people have been rescued from under the rubble. Rescue works continue,” the report states.
A reminder that, in the evening of July 9, 2022, Russian invaders fired missiles at a 5-storey apartment block in Donetsk Region’s Chasiv Yar. Two entrances to the house were destroyed completely.
