Russian troops shelled four communities in the Sumy region on July 12.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, wrote on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"On July 12, the enemy shelled the territories of four communities in the Sumy region," he wrote.
According to Zhyvytskyi, Shalyhyne, Bilopillia, Znob-Novhorodske and Krasnopillia came under fire.
In particular, at 06:00, the Russians fired at the Krasnopillia community twice from multiple rocket launcher systems.
“At the same time, another populated area of the community came under mortar fire five times. As a result, a civilian building was damaged. Fortunately, people were not injured," the governor said.
