Ukrainian army shoots down enemy drone in Mykolaiv region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down a Russian Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle in the Mykolaiv region.

The Ukrainian Air Force Command said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"On July 15, at around 11:00, soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Command South shot down another hostile Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle in the Mykolaiv region," the report reads.

According to the command, the enemy drone was carrying out aerial reconnaissance of targets that the invaders shelled with multiple launch rocket systems.

From February 24 to July 15, Ukrainian defenders eliminated about 38,000 Russian soldiers and destroyed 1,672 tanks, 3,866 armored fighting vehicles, 842 artillery systems and other enemy equipment.
