Russian forces shell Nikopol district with Grad MLRS

In the early hours of July 16, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"They struck the residential quarters of Nikopol with Grad MLRS. 12 five-storey apartment buildings, a school and a vocational school’s building were damaged," he wrote.

One woman was injured. She is now in the hospital.

According to preliminary information, two people are under the rubble of destroyed apartment buildings. Rescuers are working at the scene.

In addition, Zelenodolsk, Apostolove and Shyroke communities in the Kryvyi Rih district came under fire. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
