Three civilians killed in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region

Three civilians have been killed and 12 injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On July 16, 2022, Russians killed three civilians in Donetsk Region: two in Udachne and one in Pokrovsk. Twelve more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.

In general, a total of 623 civilians have been killed and 1,598 injured in Donetsk Region since the Russian invasion started. Currently, it is impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
