Russian forces shell nine communities in Sumy, Chernihiv regions in past day

The Russian occupation army shelled eight communities in the Sumy region and one community in the Chernihiv region in the past day.

The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday, the enemy launched rocket attacks from an aircraft and opened fire using barrel artillery, MLRS, mortars and small arms. The Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Khotin, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, Nova Sloboda, Esman, and Seredyna-Buda communities in the Sumy region and the Snovsk community in the Chernihiv region all came under enemy fire," the report reads.
