Ukraine Army shows Polish Krab howitzers in action on battlefield

Polish-manufactured Krab self-propelled tracked gun-howitzers are already used on the battlefield in eastern Ukraine.

The relevant video was posted by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The most powerful self-propelled gun-howitzer Krab, which is in service with the Polish Army, is already working in eastern Ukraine,” the report states.

According to the General Staff, the 155mm gun has a reinforced barrel with a wedge lock. The crew of the vehicle consists of five persons. Its weight is about 50 tonnes, and the transition time from marching to combat position is 30 seconds.

A reminder that Poland handed over about $1.7 billion worth of military equipment to Ukraine, namely 240 modernized T-72 tanks, Piorun MANPADS, Krab self-propelled gun-howitzers, as well as grenade launchers, artillery shells, etc.
