Russian troops shelling one of most densely populated districts of Kharkiv

The Russian forces continue shelling the city of Kharkiv city, residents are asked not to go outside.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Russians are shelling Kharkiv. Attention residents: stay in shelters, do not go outside without an urgent need, do not ignore air raid alerts," Syniehubov wrote.

According to preliminary data from the regional center of emergency medical aid, 17 people were injured as a result of the shelling. The data are being clarified, Syniehubov added.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov also urged people to stay in safe places. According to him, one of the city’s most densely populated district is under fire.

As reported, four civilians were killed and 11 more were injured in enemy shelling of Kharkiv region on July 20.
