Two 'LNR' militants fighting against Ukraine sentenced to 8 and 10 years in prison

A court has found guilty two militants of the "LNR" terrorist organization who fought against Ukraine as part of the Russian occupation forces.

Ukraine's SBU State Security Service said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

The defendants received prison terms of 10 and 8 years for encroachment on Ukraine's territorial integrity and inviolability and participation in illegal armed formations.

The SBU said Ukrainian defenders captured the militants during the fighting in the Luhansk region in May.
