Two more bodies recovered from under rubble of school destroyed in Kramatorsk
Rescue and salvage operations at the site of a school destroyed in Russia’s shelling of Kramatorsk have been completed. Two more bodies of civilians were recovered from under the rubble.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At 09:10 a.m., rescue and salvage operations at the site of a school destroyed in Russia’s shelling of Kramatorsk have been completed. About 205 tonnes of the structures destroyed were cleared and dismantled. Three male bodies were revealed and recovered from under the rubble,” the report states.
In general, 38 rescuers and seven equipment units of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were involved in rescue works. Additionally, local authorities provided a tractor, mobile crane and loader.
A reminder that, on July 21, 2022, Russian invaders destroyed schools in Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka, and opened fire on Starokramatorskyi and Novokramatorskyi machine building plants.
