Two killed, five injured by Russian shelling in Mykolaiv region
Two people have been killed and five others injured by the Russian shelling of the Mykolaiv region over the past day.
Hanna Zamazieieva, head of Mykolaiv Regional Council, said this in a Telegram post.
"The occupiers continue to shell the Mykolaiv region. In the evening, they fired four Kalibr rockets at the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv - residential buildings were damaged, and some people were injured. At night, rockets also hit a city district. Information about casualties is being clarified," Zamazieieva said.
According to her, settlements in the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts also came under shelling, with rockets hitting the Halytsynove, Shyroke and Bereznehuvate communities. Private houses and cultural institutions were damaged. Two people were killed.
Over the past day, five people, including a child, were injured in the Mykolaiv region, Zamazieieva said.
