Russian civilian pilots taking part in war against Ukraine – intelligence

Ukrainian intelligence has published a list of pilots and aviation personnel of Russian state-owned airlines who operate within the structure of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and participate in the war against Ukraine.

“The crews of An-124-100 and Il-76 MD aircraft have repeatedly transported personnel, weapons, and military equipment for the war against the people of Ukraine,” the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs.

On social networks and in private conversations, the pilots express their dissatisfaction with their participation in hostilities, complain about the impossibility for themselves and their family members to go abroad, and discuss prosecution and punishment for war crimes after the inevitable defeat of Russia.

Ukraine’s intelligence officers identified the war criminals – employees of the "State Airline "224th Flight Detachment" headquartered at the Migalovo airfield in Tver.

The Chief Directorate of Intelligence underscored that all war criminals would be exposed and brought to justice.

As reported, Ukrainian intelligence published a list of the command and flight personnel of the Russian 277th bomber aviation regiment involved in the mission of missile and bomb attacks on the territory of Ukraine from Belarussian airfields "Lida" and "Baranovychi" and Russian airfields "Borisoglebsk" and "Marinovka".
