Enemy suffers losses, continues attempts to seize Vuhlehirska TPP

The Russian occupying forces are continuing attempts to conduct assault operations in certain directions, but the situation on the frontline has not undergone significant changes.

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In the Volyn, Polissia and Siverskyi directions, the situation has not changed significantly. The enemy shelled the villages of Hay in Chernihiv region and Hudove, Bilopillia and Stari Vyrky in Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian forces fired mortars, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of Kharkiv, Ruski Tyshky, Staryi Saltiv, Prudianka, Rubizhne, Tsyrkuny, Bazaliivka, Slatyne, Derhachi, Cherkaski Tyshky, Blahodatne, Udy, Pryshyb and Pytomnyk. The Russian forces also launched airstrikes near Verkhniy Saltov and Mospanove.

In the Sloviansk direction, enemy shelling was recorded near Velyka Komyshuvaha, Hrushuvaha, Krasnopilllia, Virnopillia, Dolyna, Chervona Poliana, Karnaukhivka, and Dibrivne. The occupiers attempted to storm the settlement of Bohorodychne to establish control there but again failed.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy used barrel and rocket artillery to shell the areas of Kryva Luka, Siversk, Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka and Spirne settlements. Ukrainian soldiers have once again repelled enemy assaults in the directions Verkhniokamianska -Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka - Verkhniokamianske. The occupiers suffered losses and retreated.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian position near Berestove, Bilohorivka, Nova Kamianka, Pokrovske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve, Travneve, and New York. In addition, the Russian troops launched an airstrike near Bakhmut.

The General Staff also reported that the enemy tried to improve the tactical position in the directions Volodymyrivka-Bakhmutske and Dolomitne-Novoluhanske but suffered significant losses and retreated. The enemy continues attempts to seize the Vuhlehirska TPP. Combat actions are ongoing.

In the Avdiivka, Opytne, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Stepnohirsk directions, enemy shelling was recorded. In some areas, the Russian occupiers also conduct aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. Enemy shelling was recorded near Osokorivka, Trudoliubivka, Pervomaiske, Yavkyne, Novohryhorivka, Kavkaz, Novomykolaivka, Kotliareve, Poliana, Tavriyske and Mykolaiv.
