Ukrainian forces preparing for counteroffensive in southern Ukraine - Kim
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, as part of preparations for a counteroffensive in southern Ukraine, are striking the positions of enemy troops and their logistical capabilities.
Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform on Wednesday, July 27, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The situation in the Mykolaiv region is under control at the moment. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for a counteroffensive and are quite effectively hitting enemy targets. We can all see this from strikes on the Antonivka Bridge," he said.
Some 21 rockets and 28 artillery shells hit infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in the Mykolaiv region on July 26. Two people were wounded by enemy shelling.
