Two bodies recovered from rubble of hotel destroyed in Bakhmut

In Bakhmut, Donetsk region, rescuers have removed the bodies of two dead people from the rubble of a hotel destroyed by Russian shelling. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.

Viktor Seromakh, spokesperson for the main department of the State Emergency Service on Donetsk region, said in a video posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“During search and rescue operations at the site of destroyed Atlantic Hotel, a man was found and removed from the rubble. Overall, since the beginning of rescue operations, the bodies of two dead people have been found at the scene. Five people have been injured. Two more people may be under the rubble," Seromakh said.

According to him, the rescuers continue to dismantle the debris.

As reported, Russian forces struck a hotel in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, on July 27.
