Ukraine’s Armed Forces repulse Russian offensive on Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka

The Russian invaders tried to advance towards Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, and Velyka Novosilka.

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

As noted, the combat composition, size, and nature of the actions of the enemy group, as well as the situation in Volyn, Polissya, and Siversky directions, remained unchanged. In the latter, the enemy fired tube and rocket artillery on the areas of Pisky, Chernihiv region, and Zhuravka, Sumy region. Measures of the engineering reinforcement of the positions are ongoing.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy opened artillery fire on the areas of Kharkiv, Ridne, Udy, Dementiivka, Slatyne, Protopopivka, Nove, Zolochiv, Prudianka, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, Bezruky, Borshchova, Staryi Saltiv, and Korobochkyne. A pair of enemy Mi-8 helicopters struck near Staryi Saltiv.

In Slovyansk direction, shelling was recorded in the areas of Kurulka, Dibrivne, Nortsivka, Mazanivka, Lozova, Shnurky, Husarivka, Hrushuvakha, Virnopillia, and Mospanove.

No active enemy’s actions were observed in Kramatorsk direction. The enemy shelled the areas of Siversk, Ivano-Daryivka, Spirne, Kryva Luka, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, and Verkhniokamyanske localities with tube, rocket artillery, and tanks. Airstrikes near Serebrianka and Spirne were launched.

In Bakhmut direction, Russians opened fire near Shumy, Bakhmutske, Berestove, Pokrovske, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Travneve, Zaytseve, and Vershyna. The occupiers launched airstrikes near Soledar and Vesela Dolyna.

The Ukrainian troops successfully repelled the enemy assault and offensive actions in the direction of Vershyna and Semyhirya. The enemy tries to go on the offensive in the areas of Novoluhanske and Soledar, hostilities are ongoing.

In Avdiivka, Novopavlivsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy opened fire along the contact line, launched an airstrike near Novoandriivka.

The enemy combat reconnaissance in the directions of Vodiane and Pisky ended in losses and retreat. The enemy tried to advance towards Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, and Velyka Novosilka but suffered losses and retreated.

In the Southern Buh direction, shelling from tanks, tube and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of Ivanivka, Tokareve, Karyerne, Osokorivka, Blahodatne, Kobzartsi, Chervona Dolyna, Lepetykha, Andriivka, Velyke Artakove, Vesely Kut, Partyzanske, Shevchenko, Myrne, Shyroke, Prybuzke, Luch, Posad-Pokrovske, Liubomyrivka, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriyske, and Oleksandrivka. The enemy launched airstrikes near Velyke Artakove, Bilohirka, and Potiomkyne.

In the Black Sea, three Kalibr sea-launched cruise missile carriers are ready to use missile weapons.

Ukrainian aviation and missile and artillery units continue to attack strongholds and clusters of enemy manpower and equipment.
